Women Abortion Rights

 Pink Party will ensure that abortion is legal and accessible for all women in Australia. Under our plan, a woman will have complete control over her fertility and the choice to continue or terminate a pregnancy. This entails the guarantee of reproductive rights, which includes access to safe and legal abortion, fertility treatments and legal protection from forced abortion. This will prevent the need for women to have to go to desperate lengths to obtain illegal abortions. 

LGBQTIA+ Rights

Our plan will also include bigger exclusion zones so that it will be illegal for pro-lifers to pray, counsel or offer help outside abortion facilities. If elected into parliament, the pink party will advocate for equal rights for all LGBTQIA+ people and to reduce the discrimination against this community. We will unify the Australian government for advocacy to all LGBTQIA+ members and the continued legalization of Same-Sex marriage and LGBTQIA+ adoption rights.

Reducing single use plastic and Styrofoam

The Pink Party will reduce the use of single-use plastics and instead, use more sustainable substitutes such as biodegradable materials. This policy of reducing single use plastics will be implemented at locations such as restaurants, supermarkets and retail stores. One of our first steps in implementing this policy will be replace Styrofoam boxes (for food takeout and delivery) by letting customers provide their own reusable containers. We acknowledge that this policy cannot be completed over a short period of time, so eliminating single use plastics from our lives will be a gradual process over several months. 

Children rights and protection

Pink party believes that children should have safety and assurance in their lives. We believe that all children should have the same opportunity to express their talents and make the most of their dreams, therefore we would like to ensure their own safety as a person.

Building more bike paths

The Pink Party cares about our environment, we want to reduce the amount of carbon emissions that enter our atmosphere from cars. Our policy is increasing the amount of bike paths in Victoria so that we reduce the need for cars. The census shows that people there are 200,000 people that cycle to work daily. 

Indigenous rights

 Pink Party cares deeply about equality amongst race, especially those of Indigenous descent. Being a minority in the 21st century, we aim to provide a policy that ensures all Indigenous citizens are given equal opportunities and chances to thrive. Our policy is to offer full scholarships in all schools and universities for Indigenous students. This is to ensure these students can pursue their dreams, without financial hindrance.
